Summer RED

Thyme of the Season is hosting its’ fifth annual group show, “Summer RED“, at our home studio in Port Carling.

Several local artists will display and sell their work, including hinterglas painter Bonnie Bews, water colourist Margo Gracey, metal sculptor Deborah Harkeness, jewller Annablele Myshok, painter Carol Pollock, basket-weaver Leslie Songer Terry, painter and mix-media artist Pat Whittle, and stain glass artist Gail Wilson.

Each artist participating in the show has created work themed on the “RED” campaign to fight AIDS in Africa and will donate a portion of their proceeds to this cause.  Since December of 2006, through an initiative launched by Turnbull, Muskoka atists and art galleries have worked together to raise both awareness and funds for The Global Fund by creating and selling RED art.

Guests are invited to “Summer RED” to enjoy the artists and their art in the intimate surroundings and gardens of Turnbull’s studio in the heart of Port Carling; it promises to make for a really special day.

“Summer RED” takes place on Saturday, June 27 from 19am to 5pm.  Thyme of the Season is located at 32 Harris Street in Port Carling.  Do the RED thing!
